Another earthquake in Pakistan
I was shocked when I read Indonesian newspaper about a recent earthquake took place in Pakistan and claimed around 30,000 lives. The earthquake occured on Saturday (8 October 2005) and the tremmor also felt in India which cost on 500 lives. Also, the shaking reached Aceh while local people was undergoing their religious rituals. They prayed more deeply to God as the earthquake began to prompt the tranquil mosque.
In my deepest thought, I pray for the victims. I pray for those who died and those who suffered in this tragedy. It's really a natural disaster which one might not predict before. We have to reinforce ourself closer to God, the Almighty.
Forgive us God, for all the distruction that we've caused. Please give us a chance to commit ourselves to you.
